Cheap Wholesale FC Barcelona Jerseys

Barcelona have said they are in a position to pursue their interest in Philippe Coutinho in January after having bids for the Liverpool playmaker rejected in the summer.

In a long-running transfer saga, Barca did not give up their pursuit of the Brazil international until deadline day, when sources told ESPN FC they claimed to have been asked for €200 million.

Liverpool turned down three Barcelona offers but denied asking for €200m and said Coutinho was never for sale.

However, Mundo Deportivo reported on Wednesday that Coutinho has an agreement with Liverpool that will allow him to leave Anfield in the winter window.

“We are [financially] prepared to sign Coutinho or any other player in January,” Barca CEO Oscar Grau said at a news conference on Wednesday.

“What we want is to have the most competitive squad possible. We will look at [signing players], even if there aren’t any sales.

“The club will remain sustainable, we don’t want losses and we have to continue to look for ways to generate income.”

Liverpool's Brazil international Philippe Coutinho remains a Barcelna target.

In the days leading up to the August transfer deadline, Barca coach Ernesto Valverde said he wanted more quality to be added following the sale of Neymar.

Although the club did not make any signings following his comments, Grau said they would back him in the January market.

“The club is in a position to give them the best team possible, which is what we want,” he added.

“The club is in a very solvent, positive position. We are doing things sensibly. What we want — and what we are achieving — is for our teams to be as competitive as possible.”

Grau announced a predicted record revenue of €897m for this season, an increase of €189m on last season, partly thanks to Neymar’s move to Paris Saint-Germain.

“We’re presenting figures for this season which are the highest of any club in the world,” he said. “No other teams — not even in the NBA or the NFL — reach these numbers.

“The club is on track to reach its target [of generating €1bn a year] by 2021.”

Grau stressed that he did not want to answer questions about the political situation in Spain and the consequences an independent Catalonia could have for Barcelona and their revenue.

However, he confirmed that the club wanted to remain part of La Liga regardless of the outcome of Catalonia’s push for secession.

“The budget is done on the basis that we continue in La Liga,” he said. “I believe that Barcelona and La Liga have to go hand in hand.”

Cheap Wholesale Arsenal FC Jerseys

Arsenal are set to be without Shkodran Mustafi for Saturday’s Premier League match against Watford as the defender’s thigh injury continues to be assessed, according to widespread reports on Tuesday.

Mustafi suffered the muscle problem while on international duty with Germany against Azerbaijan as the holders secured their place at the 2018 World Cup on the back of 10 straight qualifying wins in Group C.

Coach Joachim Low said the defender had suffered a severe muscle injury that “will probably force him to have an extended layoff.”

While Mustafi will be absent at Vicarage Road, the full extent of the injury is still being assessed.

Shkodran Mustafi joined Arsenal from Valencia in the summer of 2016.

Nacho Monreal is expected to be available, but Laurent Koscielny has been nursing a troublesome Achilles which flared up before the international break, while Calum Chambers is recovering from a groin problem.

Rob Holding, who played against Brighton alongside Koscielny, and veteran German Per Mertesacker are other options to come in for Mustafi.

Arsenal, though, could be boosted by the return of playmaker Mesut Ozil from a knee injury and also England forward Danny Welbeck, who has now resumed full training after a groin problem sustained during the goalless draw at Chelsea on Sept. 17.

Following two defeats from their opening three Premier League matches, Arsenal are unbeaten through seven outings in all competitions, with four successive victories.

Cheap Wholesale AC Milan FC Jerseys

Former AC Milan owner and president Silvio Berlusconi has criticised the Serie A club’s current management and coach Vincenzo Montella for the way things have gone since he relinquished control in April.

Berlusconi spent over three decades in charge of the Rossoneri before selling up to a group of Chinese investors.

They committed over €200 million to the purchase of 11 new players in the summer transfer window, but back-to-back defeats have left them languishing in seventh place, nine points off the pace of league leaders Napoli and seven adrift of city rivals Inter, whom they meet next weekend.

Berlusconi says there has been a distinct lack of a cohesive plan in his successors’ actions, and he does not believe Montella is making the right decisions either.

“Milan have a place in my heart for the rest of my life and all I want is to see the club at least do well, and this is my biggest regret,” he told Il Corriere della Sera. “It’s disappointing. The team’s not working.

“I don’t understand their summer transfer activities. Never before have a club signed 11 new players. With all that money, couldn’t they have bought a top player?”

Montella is trying to form a new team from the new tools placed at his disposal over the summer, but recent results confirm it is a more difficult puzzle than he might have imagined.

Silvio Berlusconi sold AC Milan this year after over three decades in charge.

Berlusconi admits he was never a fan of Montella — and did not want to appoint him in the first place — while his team selection and choice of captain has only reinforced his impression that he is not the right man to coach Milan.

“I wanted [Cristian] Brocchi to continue, but I was in bed in hospital, between life and death, and [my family] told me [they were appointing] Montella,” said the 81-year-old.

“Explain to me how players like Suso and [Giacomo] Bonaventura keep ending up on the bench. They are two of the most technically gifted players. How does he expect to get the wing play and the crosses into the area? To score goals, they should instead be making the most of their quality.

“Then the captain’s armband was given to somebody who, for years, has been a Juventus icon. There’s [Riccardo] Montolivo and he should be given the armband.”

Inter coach Luciano Spalletti does not share Berlusconi’s views on the current Milan coach, though. He had Montella as a player at Roma and has followed his coaching career closely ever since, and he rates the 43-year-old highly.

“I know him well,” he told Mediaset at the announcement of a new club sponsor in Milan. “He always wanted the ball so that he could resolve things by himself. Now, he needs the help of others too, but he’s used to being involved in big matches.

“He’s somebody I’ve always admired and I’ve always kept a close eye on what he has done as a footballer and as a coach. He’s a great person with quality and he knows how to do his job. He’s an opponent of the highest order.”

Montella’s future could nevertheless hinge on how the Rossoneri perform in the upcoming derby, after he was recently given a vote of confidence by Milan’s sporting director Massimiliano Mirabelli.

Chelsea will continue to support fans’ concerns over the prospect of Premier League matches being switched to Christmas Eve for live television.

Sky are reportedly considering moving fixtures back a day from Dec. 23 to fill its allocated Sunday afternoon slots.

The Premier League games selected for broadcast over the festive schedule are set to be confirmed on Oct. 16.

Arsenal are set to host Liverpool on Saturday, Dec. 23, while Chelsea are currently scheduled to head to Everton. It has been suggested both games could be chosen for live coverage.

Before the international break, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp called on Sky to seriously the consider the implications of scheduling a match on a date which he believes fans will have no appetite for.

“I really cannot imagine that anyone wants to watch football on that night,” he said.

Press Association Sport reported Arsenal are mindful of the issues hosting the match on Christmas Eve would present, both in terms of staffing at the Emirates Stadium, such as the guaranteed number of stewards needed for a match to be granted a safety certificate, as well as the obvious disruption for all the supporters.

Earlier this week, the Chelsea Supporters Trust, backed by fellow fans’ groups across the Premier League clubs, made its feelings on the matter clear, saying “football on Christmas Eve is unacceptable and is a step too far.”

On Friday afternoon, Chelsea posted a statement on the club’s official website expressing sympathy for the objections, which have been taken up with the Premier League.

“The Chelsea Supporters Trust wrote to the club this week expressing its objections to fixtures being scheduled to be played on Christmas Eve, an idea they are opposed to ‘due to the inherent travel difficulties and disruption to what is regarded as sacrosanct family time,'” the Chelsea statement read.

“The club is sympathetic to our supporters’ objections and it is a subject we have raised with the Premier League.”

The statement was later taken down from Chelsea’s official website.

PA Sport reported the club believe the statement made their point. Chelsea will continue to discuss the concerns of supporters with the Premier League as and when appropriate.

Cheap Wholesale FC Bayern Munich Jerseys

Mats Hummels has said that his bosses at Bayern Munich have asked him for the lowdown on his former coach Jurgen Klopp as the German champions step up their search for a new manager.

Hummels, 28, won the Bundesliga with Klopp at Borussia Dortmund in consecutive seasons in 2011 and 2012. The central defender progressed through all of Bayern’s youth teams but made just a solitary league appearance in his first spell before opting to join Dortmund — initially on loan and then permanently in 2009.

Following eight-and-a-half years at their biggest rival, he rejoined the Bundesliga champions on a five-year deal last summer for a fee of €35 million.

Liverpool boss Klopp has been linked with the vacant position at the Allianz Arena, but former Dortmund coach Thomas Tuchel and Hoffenheim’s Julian Nagelsmann have also been linked to the vacancy left by Carlo Ancelotti, who was sacked following Bayern’s 3-0 Champions League loss to Paris Saint-Germain.

Mats Hummels won the Bundesliga twice at Dortmund with Jurgen Klopp as manager.

“I’m following Jurgen Klopp really closely because of the seven years we had when he coached me at Borussia Dortmund,” he told Sky Sports. “I was really happy when he had a good start this year, but right now it looks a little tough for him and the club.

“But he and the team will get out of this situation, it’s not too bad but it’s not as good as they wanted it to be.”

Hummels revealed he was happy to vouch for Klopp’s qualities as a prospective manager but insisted he was in the dark over Ancelotti’s successor. He also admitted he didn’t know where his employer’s stood on Tuchel as a candidate either.

Hummels said: “Regarding Munich, they talked to me and asked me something [about Klopp] and I said my opinion.

“But I don’t know if [Tuchel] is the most likely candidate for the job, or if there is one or two others. I have no idea.

“I will be as curious as all of us, reading newspapers to see what’s going to happen.”

Hummels denied on Monday that he had any involvement in the sacking of Ancelotti, saying he was not a “Kingslayer” after reports suggested he was one of five players who had turned against the Italian.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has admitted Romelu Lukaku is unlikely to get a rest until Zlatan Ibrahimovic returns from injury.

Lukaku has made a flying start to his Old Trafford career with 10 goals in his first nine games, including two against CSKA Moscow on Wednesday. The Champions League clash in Russia was his 11th game of the season after also appearing in two World Cup qualifiers for Belgium last month.

Lukaku hasn’t missed a minute in the Premier League or the Champions League. And Mourinho concedes the 24-year-old’s workload will not get lighter until Ibrahimovic returns, which the United boss has suggested may not be until the new year.

“Without Zlatan we cannot rotate the striker, especially because Marcus Rashford is playing also in other positions,” Mourinho said ahead of Crystal Palace’s visit to Old Trafford on Saturday.

“So until the moment we have Zlatan we cannot think about giving rest to our No. 9, the same way we give in other positions. We cannot do that.”

Lukaku has been named in the Belgium squad for qualifiers against Bosnia and Cyprus during the international break, along with midfielder Marouane Fellaini, who is nursing an ankle injury.

Romelu Lukaku is handling the pressure of being United's No. 9 very well, says Jose Mourinho.

Roberto Martinez’s team have already qualified for next summer’s tournament in Russia. But Mourinho insists he will not put pressure on the former Wigan and Everton manager to give Lukaku a break.

He added: “Belgium is Roberto’s responsibility and it’s his decision to play him or not to play him. It’s Roberto’s responsibility. I cannot, professionally speaking, say do this or do that, you know. It’s Roberto’s responsibility.”

Lukaku arrived from Everton in the summer tasked with filling the void left by Ibrahimovic, who has not played since April after undergoing knee surgery. He is also shouldering the goalscoring responsibility in a team that could only manage 54 goals in the Premier League last season.

United have already scored 29 in all competitions this campaign — a mark they didn’t reach until Nov. 19 last season — and Mourinho says Lukaku is already handling the pressure of being United’s main goalscorer.

He said: I don’t want to speak about his progress. If I do that, it looks like we did something extraordinary in three months that he didn’t have in the remaining years of his career.

“I don’t think it’s fair. It’s just a global evolution. I think every step in his career he got it, he grabbed it with both hands.

“Since his first loan to West Bromwich Albion, grabbed the opportunity with both hands, fighting for his evolution. He was very strong in his desire to be playing in a team with other objectives now, with Champions League football, was always his dream to come to this level and since he arrived I don’t think he thinks in another thing than in his success.

“So he works hard, he rests, he has a great professional life outside the football pitch. He has ambitions, he enjoys.

“So I think he’s a global evolution. I wouldn’t be fair, I wouldn’t say that every step in his career with different managers, with different fellow players, with different teams, is not contributing to what he is now.

“And now of course I think Manchester United is a different level of expectation and he’s coping well.”
